Mining holds a lot of potential for the future of our territory yet communities are often worried about the impacts to their community. The Hamlet of Arviat Economic Development Office, and their EDO Keith Collier, has developed and implemented programs to ensure Arviammuit benefit from the jobs, training and opportunities. This focus on the future is beneficial to the community and the mining industry has produced quite successful results.
